This former tenant’s gymnasium was recently transformed by our Tico Construction team and subcontractors into Safari Kid’s 6,157 sq ft childcare / preschool center.
The interior build-out of this 1-story building included construction of new non-bearing walls, plumbing, reconfiguration of the existing mechanical system along with new finishes. Additionally, existing fire alarm and sprinkler systems were both retrofitted to accommodate the all-new classrooms, restrooms, office, and storage.
A portion of the building’s 5,285 sq ft exterior was re-configured to serve as a fenced outdoor play area for preschool students.
Safari Kid is a private heritage school that provides preschool and toddler after school daycare as well as supplementary education and summer camps to children in kindergarten through 8th grade. As an International Chain of Preschools and After School Programs, our Safari Kid is now proud to serve the Redwood City Community with its newly remodeled facility.
