Pearson’s journey with Tico began as a summer intern back in 2018.
Now, he’s back in a different role as a Business Development professional, bringing with him a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration, as well as valuable experience in sales, operations, and management in corporate services.
As a Bay Area native, Pearson’s passion for building personal relationships with team, clients, and trade partners, combined with his prior experience in the construction industry, make him the perfect fit for our company and our local community.

John MarmeshBusiness Development / President
John recommends and coordinates comprehensive pre-construction and construction services for the private business, industrial, institutional facilities and clean-tech markets based on his broad understanding of facility development strategies, and extensive experience in incorporating current and future business needs. With 30 years of experience in construction and real estate, he understands what it takes to minimize cost and optimize efficiency, and move a construction or development project from conception to finished product.
John has completed the ISPE Professional Development Training course, ‘cGMP for Facility Design Construction and Maintenance. His association with the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE), the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), and the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) provides him with a background and relationships which assist TICO construction in serving its clients.
Glenn SomaProject Executive / VP
During his 30 years in commercial construction, Glenn has established a strong reputation for staying involved with his project from start to finish.
His strengths include competitive estimating, master planning, conceptual pricing, scheduling coordination and supervision for high tech specialty facilities including clean rooms, chemical facilities, biotech and pharmaceutical projects, major equipment fit-up & installation.
Glenn coordinates production engineering and quality control during installation of specialty items and trades, such as high purity piping, clean room technology, micro-environments, air quality, industrial waste treatment and water systems equipment technology.
Mike Armstrong LEED AP® / Project Executive / Treasurer
Mike brings 30+ years of experience to the TICO Construction team. He has successfully completed an extensive range of projects: tenant interiors, office buildings, retail facilities, healthcare facilities, and a variety of buildings in the electronics and R&D industries.
Mike’s commitment to the quality of each project he manages assures our clients that their project will be completed successfully while adhering to their budget.
As a LEED® Accredited Professional, Mike possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in the design process, to support and encourage integrated design, and to streamline the application and certification process.
Member of the International Code Conference ICC.

Brian Schneider-Turk Sr Project Manager / VP
As a graduate of the University of Colorado, with a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering and Focus in Construction Management, Brian joined Tico, proving to be a great asset to our team and clients.
He has been involved in every phase of his projects from pre-construction through project closeout.
His attention to detail, commitment to each project as well as his diverse expertise in the construction industry enables him to engage in the most complex and challenging projects.
Throughout his career, he displayed leadership and alignment with Tico’s vision. Demonstrating expertise and ingenuity, resulted in Brian’s recent addition to our shareholder team.
Shawn LopezAssistant Project Manager
Shawn graduated California State University, Chico in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. She has 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, which includes estimating, project engineering, project administration as well as project management.
Her strong and timely communication skills with clients have led her to a continuous working relationship with them throughout the different phases of her career.
Shawn’s primary role includes working with Project Team Members; including Project Owners and Owner representatives, Local and State regulatory agencies, Design Consultants, Subcontractors, and Project Superintendents.
Her experience includes a variety of ground up and tenant improvement projects throughout Northern California including high tech, real estate, auto dealership and health/medical office buildings.
William ReedAssistant Project Manager
William, a Bay Area native and Chico State University graduate, joined our Tico Construction team in 2018. With extensive experience in commercial construction, including cleanrooms, R&D labs, process piping, and concrete work, William has proven to be a valuable asset to our team and clients.
Throughout his time with Tico, William’s role has expanded to managing projects from start to finish. He works closely with superintendents to ensure deadlines and scope requirements are met, while also facilitating communication between vendors, architects, engineers, and clients. His ability to coordinate stakeholders has been instrumental in our project success.
William’s commitment to quality is one of his key strengths. He understands the importance of delivering projects that meet client expectations and budgets.
With a degree in Sustainable Manufacturing and a minor in Managing for Sustainability, William also brings a unique perspective to each project, considering environmental factors.
Whether managing complex cleanrooms or small improvements, William’s comprehensive skill set and attention to detail make him an invaluable member of our team.
Scott GuerreroProject Engineer
Scott’s journey in the construction industry began during his high school years in 2016, where he worked as an apprentice superintendent gaining hands-on experience in carpentry. He worked his way up the ranks and since 2022 he once again joined our team in a construction project engineering role.
Whether he’s tackling a ground-up, tenant improvements, office, retail, or industrial warehouse project, Scott is dedicated to delivering the best possible outcome. His expertise in overseeing project details, along with his ability to communicate effectively with everyone involved ensures a smooth and seamless experience throughout project’s lifecycle.
As a third-generation Bay Area construction professional, Scott takes pride in his work and his family’s legacy in the construction industry.

Jayden LucateroProject Engineer
Jayden joined our team in 2023 as a project engineer with a passion for teamwork and hands-on workmanship. His journey began in high school, where he excelled in courses such as woodshop, 3D designs, and metal fabrication. After graduating, Jayden began his career as a carpenter apprentice, quickly working his way up to become a team lead and foreman with a residential construction and remodeling company.
His expertise in the field contributed to the development of numerous townhomes and the remodel of many of San Francisco’s older homes. With a passion for excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality work, Jayden has earned a reputation as a skilled and reliable project engineer.
Currently finishing his education in business administration, Jayden is excited to propel his career with us as a project engineer and advance in the commercial construction industry.
As a native of the Bay Area, Jayden takes great pride in working within the community he grew up in. His expertise in the field, dedication to delivering exceptional results along with his passion for teamwork make him an asset to our team and clients s alike.
Ron StrongGeneral Superintendent
Ron joined our team – for the first time – in 1990 as a working superintendent. He has since advanced to a Project Superintendent and recently to a General Superintendent role, proving his creditability reflected in the successful completion of each project he takes on from start to finish.
With 30+ years of expansive experience in the commercial construction industry, Ron has proven to be a notable asset to our team and clients alike.
His varied project experience includes heavy industrial infrastructure, facility pads, major tool installs, Class A office interior buildouts, new building shell construction, restaurant / café, and food service facilities, healthcare and fitness centers, structural and seismic upgrades, biotech and cleanroom facilities, as well as ADA compliance upgrade projects.
Alongside project supervision, Ron additionally ensures necessary resources are made available to our unrelenting field workforce, supporting Tico’s safe and continuous delivery of quality construction projects on time and on budget.
